Dr. Mousumi Saha (Ghosh)

Dr. Mousumi Saha (Ghosh) is professionally Food Technology enthusiast. She had an excellent academic & professional career so far in the field of Food technology. She is a Bronze medallist in her B.Tech from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT, WB) and topper in M.Tech in Food Process Engineering from India’s of the premier institute Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT KGP). She has also completed PhD in the same discipline from IIT KGP with remarkable contribution in research by achieving Gandhian Young Technologist Award (GYTI, 2020). Like academia, she has also successful careers in one of the best MNC company (PepsiCo, Frito-Lay) as a Quality Analyst. Later, she chooses to continue her path as an academic person by working as an Assistant Professor at MAKAUT and Techno Main Salt Lake, West Bengal in the department of Food Technology, before starting the journey with Nourishmate as Founder. Apart from the professional career, she feels that how the unawareness about our daily food habit and robotic lifestyle leads our life to the dreadful disease called cancer in near future. And in this vision, she holds the position as a Co-founder of a Non-Profitable Trust naming “Cancer Care with Precision” which is working to spread the awareness about how the risk of cancer can be minimized.
